My Role:

  • I was responsible for establishing the game's foundations by setting up the 3Cs (Camera, Character, Controller) and managing input using Unity's 'New Inputs Manager.'
  • I also implemented a core mechanic that allows players to calm animals using a combo, along with the implementation of audio and visual feedback.
  • Furthermore, I implemented Artificial Intelligence (AI) to control animal movements within the virtual environment.
  • Additionally, I explored the Mixamo tool to integrate various character animations, enhancing player immersion and interaction in the game.

Explorium VR

Prototype created for the 3D Interaction and Virtual Reality course at UQAC.
Explorium VR is an application for exploring environments such as forests, beaches, etc., in Virtual Reality.

My Role:

  • I implemented Virtual Reality (VR) movement and interactions using OpenXR, providing players with options for teleportation or continuous movement, as well as continuous or incremental rotation.
  • I also created an inventory system that allows players to collect and retrieve items.
  • Furthermore, I implemented Artificial Intelligence (AI) to control animal movements within the virtual environment.
  • Considering the target audience, which includes children, I integrated safety instructions to prevent potentially dangerous actions, such as handling toxic mushrooms, providing a safe VR experience.

AZDH

Prototype created for the Network Programming in Game Development course at UQAC.
AZDH is a multiplayer PVE TPS (Third-Person Shooter) where players must survive waves of enemies.

My Role:

  • I created the wave system and drone spawning, where a new wave starts every 60 seconds, leading to the appearance of enemy drones. If a wave is defeated in less than 60 seconds, the excess time is carried over to the next wave, and this data is synchronized among players.
  • I also implemented statistics (Stats) and achievements (Achievements) using the Epic Online Services (EOS), providing objectives and rewards to players.

Comeback Home

Prototype created for the Principles of Video Game Design and Development course at UQAC.
Comeback Home is a futuristic rogue-like game.

My Role:

  • I created the HUD for quick access to character information, an encyclopedia to document the story and weapon details, as well as a tutorial to guide players.
  • My role also involved inventory management, particularly bandages, armor, and weapon switching.
  • I implemented a save system for sound settings, player inventory, and the highest level achieved using Unity's PlayerPrefs.

Escape Shark

Project completed for the Object Project Management course and the 'Honest Engineer' project in the 3rd year of ENIB.
The goal of this game is to demystify the negative image of sharks created by movies and other media through a puzzle game.
